"I just had the misfortune of checking out an early screening of Tyler Perry’s second installment of the Madea Franchise, Madea’s Family Reunion, and it was, in a word, a hot mess! Oh, my bad, that's 3 words. Anyway, I took a chance on seeing the first movie, 'Diary of A Mad Black Woman,' after being leery about how the stage play would translate to film, but I was pleasantly surprised; it was no award-winner, but it was certainly entertaining.
