In 1976, a comedy series about three young black teenagers - Roger 'Raj' Thomas, Freddie 'Rerun' Stubbs and Dwayne Nelson - premiered on US television screens. The show centered on the teenagers and their antics while growing up in the inner-city of Los Angeles, California. The role of Roger's sister, Dee Thomas, was played by actress Danielle Spencer, who turns 41 years old this year, recently sat with this writer and updated us on what she has been doing, since What's Happening came off the air in 1979.
