*Democrat Barack Obama's lead over Republican rival John McCain firmed to 6 points going into Tuesday's U.S. presidential election, according to a Reuters/C-SPAN/Zogby poll released on Sunday. Meanwhile, Republican VP candidate Sarah Palin was the butt of a phone call by a prankster impersonating French President Nicolas Sarkozy who got her to accept an invitation to hunt baby seals.
