R. KELLY WRITES SONG TO BENEFIT VA TECH VICTIMS: Proceeds from ‘Rise Up’ will benefit Hokie Spirit Memorial fund.
*R. Kelly will release a special single on May 15 to honor victims of the recent tragedy at Virginia Tech. “Rise Up,” to be released via digital music services, will dedicate 100 percent of its proceeds to the Hokie Spirit Memorial Fund, which will assist families affected by the massacre last month. WOMAN SUING ROCK ADDRESSES DNA SITUATION: Kali Bowyer clarifies reason for wanting paternity test for 13-year-old son.
*Kali Bowyer e-mailed Georgia’s Statesboro Herald newspaper Monday denying reports that she and Rock agreed to a DNA test 10 years ago, and that she "disappeared" before the test was ever conducted. "This is simply just not true," she said, adding that Rock and his attorneys have always had her address and phone number.
